As our founding partner, Eric Helmy devotes himself to the delivering strategically intelligent, personalized legal services to his clients.

Mr. Helmy has served as counsel on major business litigation matters since 2005. A strong believer in cutting-edge professional education, he has recovered millions of dollars for his clients.

Eric obtained his B.A. in Ecology from Cornell University and his J.D. from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College. He also holds an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law.

Eric is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Oregon Trial Lawyers’ Association.

Mr. Helmy’s practice with the Northwest Business Law Clinic focuses on business litigation, employment litigation, business transactions, and intellectual property.

In addition to serving his clients and volunteering in his community, Eric enjoys raising his family, competing in triathlons, cycling, hiking, windsurfing, and playing guitar.
